Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SheetSync — the website, dashboard, and underlying service that fills your Excel templates with new data. By creating an account or using SheetSync in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using SheetSync on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create a SheetSync account.

SheetSync accounts are created and accessed through Google Sign-In — there's no separate SheetSync password to manage. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. Use one account per person; if your team needs shared access, our Business plan is built for that — reach out and we'll help you set it up.

Let us know right away at support@sheetsync.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

SheetSync offers a Free plan and several paid plans, each with its own limits on saved templates, monthly generations, and maximum file size. Current plans and pricing are shown on our Pricing page and may change from time to time — you'll always see the price before you upgrade.

On the Free plan, each saved template can be generated a limited number of times before it locks; you can replace it or upgrade to keep going. Paid plans remove that per-template cap and instead give you a monthly pool of generations shared across your saved templates.

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from account settings — there's no lock-in contract. A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.

You own the Excel templates and data files you upload to SheetSync — we don't claim any ownership over them. Uploading a file gives SheetSync only the limited permission needed to store it, process it, and generate your finished file, and nothing more.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload whatever you upload — including any personal data about other people, such as employees or customers, that might be inside a template or data file. Don't upload anything you don't have the rights or permission to use.

Please don't:

• Try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy SheetSync's underlying mapping engine or software
• Upload malware, or files designed to exploit or disrupt the service
• Attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or authentication
• Use SheetSync to process data you don't have the legal right to handle
• Resell or provide access to SheetSync as if it were your own product, without our written agreement

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

When you upload a data file, SheetSync first tries to match its columns to your template using deterministic, rule-based logic — no AI involved. Only for columns that logic can't confidently resolve does SheetSync ask an AI model to decide which source column feeds which template column. The model sees column headers and abstract descriptions of what a sample looks like — for example "a date" or "10 digits" — never your actual row values.

The Review step always shows you the mapping before anything is written to your file, including a confidence indicator for AI-assisted matches. Because AI-assisted suggestions can occasionally be wrong, you're responsible for reviewing the mapping — especially for payroll, financial, or other sensitive files — before relying on the generated output.

SheetSync, its logo, and the underlying software, mapping engine, and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our brand or software beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.

You can stop using SheetSync and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law. If we terminate your account for a reason other than your own breach, we'll do our best to give you a chance to export your saved templates and files first.

SheetSync is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep the mapping engine accurate and the service reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every generated file will be perfectly correct. Always review the Review step and the finished file before relying on it, especially for anything regulatory, financial, or otherwise consequential.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheetSync and its team aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to SheetSync is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, on the Free plan, to zero.

We may update these Terms as SheetSync evolves. If we make a material change, we'll let you know — by email or an in-app notice — before it takes effect. Continuing to use SheetSync after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of SheetSync is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where SheetSync's operating entity is registered.
